The Chomsky Fund

The Carol Chomsky Memorial Fund, Inc. was established in honor of Carol Schatz Chomsky, scholar, linguist, mother-of-three, and wife of famed linguist, Noam Chomsky. Carol Chomsky passed away in late December of 2008 and this fund has been set up to celebrate her work, compassion and ideals for a better, more just global community.

Beit Atfal Assumoud

Known as Beit Atfal Assumoud (BAS), the National Institution of Social Care and Vocational Training (NISCVT) is a humanitarian non-governmental organization working among Palestinian communities in Lebanon. It was established after the massacre at Tal El-Zaatar refugee camp in 1976 to care for children who had lost one or both of their parents in the massacre.

LEAP Program

LEAP is a grassroots volunteer program established to provide educational empowerment projects to support the intellectual growth and creative curiosity of refugee-youth in Lebanon so they may become agents of change. As an apolitical humanitarian US-based organization, LEAP aims to raise awareness about the plight of Palestinian refugees in general, but particularly in Lebanon, to American volunteers.
